Description:
Events Mafia 2 would unfold during the 40-50-ies of XX century, in the fictional city of Empire Bay, which is charged with three mafia "families": Vinci, Clemente and Falconi. Rising to the side of one of the clans, the player will be slow, as in the original, on the continuation of the ten-plus years to earn respect and esteem.

Calling the main character Vito Scaletta, and his story is fundamentally different from the fate of Thomas Angelo. He grew up baby Vito in poverty on the streets of Empire Bay, the son of impoverished immigrant from Sicily. As a young boy, he swore to himself that someday would be "they" - the people he has observed more than once or twice: a well-dressed, on luxury cars, rich and powerful gentlemen, which give way to pedestrians at streets, and the owners of various establishments personally open to them the doors.

Characters:
Vito Scaletta (born Vito Scaletta) - the main hero of the game was in the mafia for personal reasons - from his childhood he remembered the wealth and respect surrounding these serious guys, and Vito Scaletta wanted to do the same. The son of an immigrant from Sicily, Vito grew up in poverty in the impoverished streets of Empire Bay, all his life he desperately tried to avoid the fate of his father and become a "somebody". Once after a failed robbery in the military during the Second World War in Europe, he is now back home with the firm intention to achieve the desired and join the mafia seems to be a suitable way to improve on both their lives and the fate of loved ones. "Scaletta" - Italian for "ladder", apparently, represents a career ascent.
